With over ten years of legal experience, including six years as a practicing attorney, and a B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, I founded Gobez out of a deep passion for helping clients from all backgrounds—especially those from minority, immigrant and East African communities who are often underrepresented.

I came to the U.S. from East Africa and grew up watching my parents struggle with systems that weren’t built for people who didn’t speak English. I know how intimidating the legal process can feel—especially if English isn’t your first language or you’ve never worked with a lawyer before. I make sure my clients understand what’s happening, their rights, and their options so insurance companies don’t take advantage of them. My goal is to keep things simple and make sure you always feel heard, supported, and protected.

As a car accident attorney, I deeply understand the challenges faced during tough times, such as after a car accident, slip and fall, or dog bite injury. Many individuals, especially from Ethiopian, Eritrean, Somalian and Sudanese immigrant communities feel intimidated by insurance companies and hesitate to file claims due to fear or confusion.
